Operation Outreach – Research shows that individuals experiencing homelessness are significantly more likely to be targets of violent crime. Recent studies show that nearly 1 in 2 people experiencing homelessness (49%) report being victims of violent attacks, with many incidents occurring within the past year.

This year, we are honored to partner with Cordelia’s Pantry and Humility Homes on Thursday, November 20th, from 3:00–6:00 p.m.

In response, and in honor of SHAM, the Survivors of Homicide and Other Violent Crimes Program hosts an annual event designed to bring care, connection, and community to those most vulnerable. The event includes a shared meal, access to information about available programming and services, and direct referrals to supportive resources.
