Start By Believing

Start By Believing

I believe you.

These three little words can make all the difference to a survivor of sexual abuse or assault.

Family Resources has joined the global campaign to change the way we respond to sexual abuse.

The fourth annual Start By Believing Day is recognized Wednesday, April 3. On that day, advocates from all over the region will gather at a conference in Chicago, and our local communities will become Start By Believing communities!

In utilizing billboards, radio advertising, broadcast PSAs, posters, social media and teaming up with local agencies our hope is to create a safe environment for survivors of sexual abuse. Learn more about this global campaign at www.startbybelieving.org. Post your pledge to social media with #startbybelieving to spread awareness to your family and friends. Although we are kicking off this initiative during April in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we are keeping the momentum going all year round!
