Clothes Line Project
The Clothesline Project is a visual display designed to bring awareness to assault & abuse by hanging T-shirts designed by survivors of violence or their loved ones that share their stories.
Survivors, students, faculty, and staff will be invited to decorate their own T-shirts as part of the Project. According to data from the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced physical violence from an intimate partner in their lifetime.

Open Your Doors: A House Party for a Purpose
Open Your Doors: A House Party for a Purpose is back for year 3!
2020 was a year that brought about big changes in our business, and our annual Opening Doors gala just one of the many things we had to reimagine in order to keep pace with what was happening in the world around us. When we realized we couldn't host a party that year to celebrate and support the good work at Family Resources, we decided to bring the party to YOU, and Open Your Doors: A House Party for a Purpose was born.
The first two years were so successful, we've decided to bring back the House Party for a Purpose for year three!
Last year we raised $84,468 with the help of our sponsors and supporters, and over 80% of those funds went back into programs. This is what makes Open Your Doors so successful - because we get to keep the overhead low, your dollars go directly to support what matters most... the people we serve. So, join in the effort for Open Your Doors 2022 and let us bring the house party to you!

Fill The Truck
Fill the Truck is back!
Join us on Saturday, June 11th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at 12 area Hy-Vee stores in Muscatine, Clinton and the Quad Cities for Fill the Truck!
Family Resources staff and volunteers will collect new, basic need items for individuals and families utilizing our shelter and housing services. Click Here for a list of all items we will be collecting.

BUT rather than cancel outright - or move the event online - we decided to reimagine what it might mean to gather safely and still support the vital work we do to support successful lives...
And so, by popular demand, we are bringing back our at-home fundraiser,

You choose your party, invite your friends, then leave the rest to US!
Complete with catering from one of four local restaurants, we will deliver everything you need to enjoy an evening at home with your friends as you party for a purpose!
