W-2 and Payroll Calendar

Happy New Year! As we welcome the new year, I wanted to send out the 2018 payroll schedule and calendar and give a short update on W-2 forms and Personal time. 

Payroll Calendar
Attached you will find the 2018 payroll schedule and calendar.  Please let me know if you have any questions. 

W-2 Forms
W-2s will be processed after the final payroll of the year.  An email will be sent as soon as they are available, but definitely by January 31st, 2018.  If your home mailing address has changed, please let me know ASAP, so we can be sure your W-2 is mailed to the correct place.  

Personal time
If you are a full time employee, you have earned 24 hours of Personal time on January 1st. This time may not show up correctly in your totals until after the 2nd payroll in January as it is a very manual process. This time can be used for time off in 2018. It can NOT be used for time off in 2017.

Four Oaks Staff Chat Follow up

For the past two months, we have conducted 24 Staff Chats at sites across Four Oaks, Jane Boyd, the Affordable Housing Network and Family Resources. We had an estimated 500 staff attend these events, that featured the CARE Team’s work – with team and supervisor kits, along with popcorn. Our thanks to Anne for taking the time to personally attend all of these chats which provided an opportunity for her to visit our Davenport, Muscatine and Moline sites. 

Anne used the Staff Chats as an opportunity to share what we can expect in the year we just started: 1) we can expect change to continue, and we are good at adapting to change; 2) our purpose will not change – helping children and families achieve stability in the short and long-run (TotalChild); and 3) we are a team at a program/department, site, agency and enterprise level - and our teams will grow stronger this next year.
