Position Description
Fairmount Pines Service Coordinator4/26/13Davenport,IAFTThe Service Coordinator will work with tenants at Fairmount Pines to help remove barriers that may be influencing their ability to become economically self sufficient. Assist in development of on-site support groups and supportive services, coordination of a mentoring leadership program, and referrals to community agencies. Flexible hours to include evening and weekends. 

Qualifications: Experience in social services required and AA or BA degree preferred, High School diploma required.

Domestic Violence Legal Advocate4/16/13Davenport, IAFTThe Domestic Violence Legal Advocate will intercede on behalf of victims and survivors of domestic violence in Rock Island County, Illinois and Scott County, Iowa.  They will do this in the form of advocating for the client in regards to court hearings, helping them obtain orders of protection, and other legal issues that our coalitions allow us to assist with, as well as providing community education and awareness when requested. 

Qualifications: BA in Human Services required; prior experience preferred; skills in advocacy, networking, and organization; reliable transportation along with valid driver's license and auto insurance; availability for 24-hour on-call crisis response 

Para Professional

Para professional position open to provide educational and behavioral support services for special needs students in the Wittenmyer Learning Center.  Hours are between 7:00 or 7:30 am to 3:00 or 3:30 pm. 

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous classroom experience and working with special needs students a plus.
