Family Resources' Shelton Program is a residential setting for adolescent males ages 12 - 17 who are, or have a history of, demonstrating sexually offensive and/or aggressive behavior. Shelton utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach incorporating the milieu behavior management model with individual and family remedial skills building; individual, group and family therapy; and community involvement. Key components of programming include: disclosing offenses, identifying cycles, developing a relapse prevention plan, victim clarification and safety planning. While programming is always unique to the individual, the following may provide a basic summary of the services Shelton can offer:
