Newcomb Cottage

The Newcomb Program is an enhanced residential treatment program located on the Wittenmyer Youth Center campus in Davenport, IA The adaptable milieu model at Newcomb enables the program to serve clients of varied intellectual and social functioning levels. Newcomb has demonstrated great success in working with clients suffering from more severe mental health diagnoses and/or average to low IQ levels. Frequently, these clients come to us with significant abandonment and/or abuse issues and extremely fragile self-images. With that in mind, Newcomb focuses on self-esteem, managing the intensity of their emotions and family relational issues.
