Friday, Mar 5 Moline Foundation Makes Grant to Family Resources, Inc.
  The Moline Foundation has made a grant in the amount of $1,300 to the Family Resources, Inc. QC Domestic Violence Shelter to help underwrite new toys for the shelter’s Children’s Play Therapy Room and the shelter’s spring and summer children’s activities programs.

Wednesday, Feb 17 Collaborative, organized by Family Resources, Inc., provides purchasing power for local non-profits.
  Family Resources, Inc. recently launched a new Non-profit Purchasing Commodity Volume Buying Program in the Quad Cities. This program offers QC non-profit agencies the opportunity to purchase items such as janitorial supplies, paper products, office products and office furniture at volume discounts while maintaining service and quality.

Friday, Jan 29 Doctors Wit a Heart
  Dr James Davis, local doctor of Chiropractic, will be having Doctors With A Heart Day on Valentine's Day, Sunday, February 14th, from 9:00 am til 1:00 pm. Anyone who has never been treated by Dr. Davis will receive a "Free" Orthopedic/Neurologic Exam for a monetary donation. Current patients will be given a Chiropractic adjustment also for a donation. All money will be presented to Family Resources, Inc. of Davenport.

Friday, Jan 22 NAVAA awards committee $5,000 to help raise awareness during Crime Victims' Rights Week
  The Quad Cities Crime Victims’ Rights Week Committee has received funding from the National Association of VOCA Assistance Administrators (NAVAA) through a grant from the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), within the Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice. The $5,000 grant will be used to promote community awareness of crime victims’ rights and services during 2010 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. The committee was selected to receive the grant from 142 applications, based on its efforts to raise public awareness about crime victims’ rights and services available in our community.
