About Us

Since 1968, Family Resources, Inc has been providing services in the Muscatine area. For over thirty-nine years, Family Resources has been committed to providing quality care and excellence of service to the families we counsel, the community we live in, and the agencies we collaborate with. We believe that healthy families are the backbone of our community and the strength of our future. Professionally trained staff provide the following services in Muscatine:

• Iowa Aftercare Services Network

• Sexual Assault/Domestic Abuse Advocacy Program

• Domestic Violence Shelter

• Counseling and Therapy Services

• In Home United Way Program

Our office is located at 119 Sycamore Street, Suite 200. General office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesday and Thursdays 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the Counseling and Therapy Services. All of the workers have voicemail at the office and for emergency purposes there is an on-call system. Since the early 1970’s, an Advisory Board Committee has been established to provide Family Resources with community feedback on current services, identify community needs and service gaps and to assist in the solicitation of support, gifts and grants.
